When do I pay? Typically at the end of the ride. We’ll let you know otherwise. It usually takes about 30 seconds.
Can I pre-pay? Sometimes. Please inquire.
Can I get a receipt? Yes. Email, Text, or paper

Tipping :

Is a tip included in the price? No. If we built it into the price, it wouldn’t be a tip.
Is tipping required? No, but it’s certainly appreciated by our drivers.
Can I tip my driver on the credit card payment device? Yes
How much of my tip will my driver get? 100%
What is the most common tip? 15%


International Travelers :

Texting > If you don’t have a North American cell number, we can’t text you. In that case, we generally defer to email.
Email > If you are comfortable with connecting with Wifi hotspots while you are in the area, we find that email works well. Our order form works via email.
Calls > We can both accept and reply to international phone calls.

Can I book a ride for someone else? Generally, yes. However, keep the following in mind. We want the passengers’ contact information because we may not be able to reach you at a critical time. If you order with our booking form, include your contact information in the Optional Trip Notes field, and if you want, we can cc you on any important updates.

How much baggage can we carry? We can carry quite a bit; however, we don’t like surprises any more than you do. So if you have a fair amount of luggage, tell us the number of passengers along with the number of bags and the size of each bag using this chart.

​​If you’re looking for a pickup upon your return arrival to PDX, fill out these fields. Include the scheduled arrival time and the flight number so we can monitor your arrival and be waiting for you. Expect a text or email from your driver when your plane lands with instructions on where to meet. Your ride will be in a MetroCar in the Reserved Ride area, not a MetroCab in the Taxi area.

Make sure this is your flight’s Scheduled Arrival Time. We will calculate when to pick you up.
